What you are not buying

You are not buying permission for your codes to keep working. That is not a feature and we will not charge for it. Codes resolve on every plan, including after you cancel.

You are also not buying your data back. The Permanence Kit — a static QR for every code plus a full CSV export — is on the free plan too.

Pricing questions

What counts against my plan?

Only the number of dynamic codes you have. Static codes are unlimited on every plan, and scans are never counted against anything.

Why don’t you limit scans like everyone else?

Because it would cost us more to bill for them than to serve them. A scan is one request and one database write at Cloudflare's edge — roughly $0.0000013. Metering that would be theatre, and it creates the exact failure people complain about: a campaign goes well, the cap is hit, and the reporting quietly stops.

What happens to my codes if I downgrade?

Codes over the new plan's limit become frozen: still redirecting, still counting scans, just not editable until you free a slot or move back up. Nothing you have printed stops working. Full detail here.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes, on every paid plan. Annual billing is a discount worth two months, never a requirement. (Uniqode, by contrast, states on its own pricing page that it only offers annual plans — checked 2026-10-04.)

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — 30 days, no questions, on any plan. See the refund policy.

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It is a plan. There is no time limit, no credit card, and the codes you make on it do not expire when some clock runs out.
